The Institute of Builders Merchants

The Institute of Builders Merchants exists to promote and acknowledge experienced, qualified individuals employed within the Builders Merchants industry by supporting them in their personal development through relevant training and Continual Professional Development (CPD).

Various grades are available from Student Member learning the trade as a Builders Merchant, through to Full Member for time served individuals, all recognising personal qualifications and experience.

Your personal qualification is yours to take with you from Branch to Branch, company to company and proves your commitment to your career path. Members just need to demonstrate a proven, accredited level of skill and professionalism including a dedication to their profession of Builders Merchanting.
