Health & Safety Minimum Expectations

The BMF’s Health & Safety Working Group has put together a draft set of minimum standards
for BMF members to enable all merchant members to follow what is considered to be best
practice in their business operations. These are viewed as the basic precautions that a
Regulator would expect a reasonable employer to have in place in order to protect both
worker and customer Health and Safety at a Builders Merchant.
