BMF Regional Managers recognised for exceptional work

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has recognised outstanding achievement and member engagement across its members’ regions with two internal awards presented to BMF Regional Managers Chris Heeks and Craig Jennings.

Chris Heeks, BMF Regional Manager for the North of England and the Isle of Man, has been named Regional Manager of the Year for the second consecutive year. Chris, who joined the BMF in September 2022, received the award in recognition of his consistently high standard of work and unwavering support for members across the region.

Prior to joining the BMF, Chris built extensive industry experience working for an independent builders’ merchant as well as in a variety of roles with Jewson. He was absolutely delighted to receive the recognition once again.

A second award recognised the BMF’s Central Region, led by Regional Manager Craig Jennings, which was named the association’s “Most Engaged” region.

The award celebrates exceptional levels of member engagement, demonstrated through strong attendance at regional events and meetings, high levels of training participation, and active support for BMF initiatives and activities.

Craig, who joined the BMF in October 2022, said he was delighted to receive the award and sees a key part of his role as helping members maximise the value of their membership by encouraging engagement at every level.

Commenting on the awards, the BMF praised both Regional Managers for their commitment to supporting members and strengthening engagement across the Federation.
