The voice of the building

Government Influence - Building your voice

The BMF works proactively to foster business-friendly conditions for its members, inform our members about upcoming changes to policy and to ensure that the voice of our members is heard so that their interests are effectively represented and prioritised. Policy and public affairs mean influencing parliaments and governments to explain the role, value and importance of our members, and the BMF itself, in delivering for local communities. In an ever-changing world, this is a vital service. The power of our collective voice ensures that the BMF is the ‘commentator of choice’ for the building materials sector.

Throughout the year we work to identify and influence the key policy issues that matter most to our members.
