Data has changed. With those changes the Data Protection Act 1998 has become out of date and limited. So, from May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulations introduce greater protection of personal information and a greater burden on businesses to secure that data.



Who would benefit:

Ideally, both IT representative and director/decision maker level within the organisation due to the technical requirement, operation changes required and potential investment. Director/Decision level is important due to the necessity to understand the gravity of the GDPR legislation

  • Understanding legal basis of processing, inc understanding consent
  • Data breaches and handling of
  • Who and what is a DPO
  • Data Privacy Impact Assessments and how that is mandated in law
