BMF supports World Mental Health Awareness Day - Tues 10th October

Join us in recognising World Mental Health Day on Tuesday 10th October.

At the Builders Merchant Federation, we understand the importance of mental health in the construction industry. This year, we are proud to support the Lighthouse Construction Charity, our 2024 BMF Charity of the Year, who are doing incredible work to promote mental well-being in our industry.

If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please don't hesitate to reach out. Visit the Lighthouse Construction Charity's website for valuable resources and information: https://bit.ly/3RNd25C

Together, let's ensure no one faces mental health challenges alone.

Further support is available via the NHS who are in their fourth year of their Every Mind Matters Campaign. Giving everyone the opportunity to access resources to help better their mental health. From expert advice to talking therapies – there is a wealth of beneficial information.

Finally, at the BMF we understand the importance of mental health in the construction industry and seek to train our members in the skills they need to identify and assist staff who may need support.
That’s why we’re hosting a half a day Mental Health First Aider refresher course, taking place virtually Wednesday 18th October.
