BMF Parliamentary Reception 2019
Following last year’s successful Parliamentary Reception to celebrate the BMF's Anniversary year we are planning to hold another event in the House of Commons later this year, in the Members’ Dining Room of the House of Commons.
This event will showcase excellence in the manufacture and distribution of building materials & home improvement products. The emphasis is on innovation and advanced manufacturing to show MPs and Peers how BMF members use materials’ science and process technology to develop low-carbon solutions, increase resource efficiency, and improve product performance.
Thirteen specially-invited BMF Supplier Members will exhibit their latest materials or products, so that we can showcase the very best in building excellence from BMF members to Westminster and Whitehall.
Many will remember that last year, former Business Secretary Sir Vince Cable MP spoke at the beginning - with the Housing Secretary, Sajid Javid MP, replying for the Government as our closing speaker. We hope to get a senior member of the Government to speak again at this year’s event in October.

Later this summer, we will open the online registration on a first come, first served basis. There is no attendance fee - but we will ask you to contact your MP to persuade him/her to join us at this innovation showcase reception.
