Bob Beaver Memorial Shoot 2018
The fourth Bob Beaver Memorial Clay Pigeon Shoot is being organised by MDA. Proceeds will go to the Rainy Day Trust.
Following the success of last year's event, entries are now open for the fourth ‘Bob Beaver Memorial shoot’ which will take place on Thursday 12 July at one of the UK’s finest shooting schools, the Royal Berkshire, in support of the Rainy Day Trust. The BMF is proud to sponsor the event again this year.
A terrific day’s shooting and culinary dining will be afforded to those lucky few who are able to secure a place at the 2016 ‘Bob Beaver Memorial Charity Shoot.’ The event is a great opportunity to network with senior figures from the industry in the fabulous surroundings of the Royal Berkshire countryside.
The plan for the day
Bacon butties and coffee on arrival whilst you catch up with friends and colleagues.
The fun begins!
Light refreshments are served back in the clubhouse where the banter is of the mornings 'clay that got away' and 'if only there were three barrels rather than two!'
Team Captains are appointed and each assigned a team of beginner and intermediates based on the scores achieved that morning. You are heading for the 'Flushes' and the most fun you can have with a shotgun!
Lunch prepared by TV chef Mike Robinson from his restaurant, 'The Pot Kiln.' Then it's time to build up a sweat as the scores for the day are announced...
Results. Did you win the trophy or the rubber duck? It's friendly competition all round. Then time for the raffle with the main prize: A Beretta Shotgun worth over £1,000.
Depart ahead of the commuter traffic - See you next year!
Due to limits at the shooting ground, places are on a first come, first served basis.
The cost for the day is £345+VAT.
