TrustMark and the BMF have partnered to provide training sessions that detail the necessary steps to check whether you already meet the requirements or need further training to become certified.

What’s on offer?
Homeowners will be able to apply for a voucher to fund up to two thirds of the cost of upgrading the energy performance of their home. The vouchers will pay up to two thirds of eligible improvements up to the value of £5,000. Low income households are eligible to claim up to 100% funding, to the value of £10,000.

What energy efficient improvements are included?
- Roof, wall, and floor insulation
- Air or ground source heat pumps
- Solar thermal
- Replacing single to double or triple glazed windows
- Energy-efficient doors
- Hot water tank/appliance tank thermostats/ heating controls

GREEN HOMES GRANT SCHEME (GHGS): STEPS TO UNLOCK NEW CUSTOMERS


In July 2020, the Chancellor announced a £2bn Green Homes Grant Scheme in England to help homeowners and landlords improve over 600,000 homes to be more energy efficient across England. This was launched in September 2020 and will run until March 2021 supporting the drive to achieve the UK’s net-zero target by 2050

1 - Already Certified?
Businesses already PAS 2030 or MCS certified and are TrustMark registered, meet the required certification for the GHGS and can take advantage of this opportunity to offer their services to eligible Customers

2 - Becoming Certified
New Businesses wishing to become part of the GHGS must have PAS 2030 or MCS certification. To find out how to become certified, contact your relevant Certification Body or attend one of our FREE training consultations

3 - Becoming TrustMark
If a business holds PAS 2030 or MCS certification, they can apply for TrustMark Registration. This can also be achieved through their Certification Body. Once registered with TrustMark the business will be eligible to support GHGS customers now and in the future
