Joining the BMF

By joining the BMF you will gain far more than simply belonging to the industry's foremost authority on the building supply chain. The BMF brings real and tangible benefits to its Members with the highest quality services and the best value for money.

Please note that all Members of the BMF are liable to pay an annual subscription fee which is based on turnover. Full and Distributor Members are also charged depending on their number of outlets.

Full / Merchant Membership Application Form
Open to any bona-fide builders, plumbers, timber, civils, heating, decorating or other specialist merchants within the UK, who comply with strict criteria.

Supplier Membership Application Form
Open to any bona-fide manufacturer of goods or any extractors of bulk materials used in the construction industry who pursue an acceptable merchant's trading policy.

Distributor Membership Application Form
Open to any bona-fide distributor of building products within the UK who comply with a strict criteria.

Service Membership Application Form
Open to any bona-fide specialist supplier of equipment, services or advice to merchants, subject to a minimum of two recommendations, usually from Full Members of the BMF.

Affiliate Membership
Open to other Trade Associations by invitation only.
