Marshalls

Keen to continue to help keep frontline care staff and residents safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, Marshalls has sponsored more PPE for care workers.

1,000 custom-made face shields have been delivered to staff at Calderdale Council, who are now distributing them to be used by social care workers across the district.

The shields have been made by Thomas Dudley Limited on a not for profit basis, as part of their support for the NHS and key workers.

This builds on Marshalls previous donation of some of their own PPE to Calderdale Royal Hospital to support the COVID-19 response, as well as donating 100 tonnes of screed for the Manchester Nightingale Hospital.

Martyn Coffey, CEO of Marshalls plc, said: “We’re really pleased to be able to support our local key workers and help them to stay safe during this time.”

Marshalls is a members of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF), which has orchestrated a campaign for the donation of PPE across its membership.
