Please note that all Members of the BMF are liable to pay an annual subscription fee which is based on turnover. Full and Distributor Members are also charged depending on their number of outlets.

          Full / Merchant Membership Application Form

          This is open to any bona-fide builders, plumbers, timber, civils,
          heating, decorating or other specialist merchant within the UK
          who comply with a specific set of criteria as shown here.

          Please note that all applicants must include copies of their
          most recent 2 year's audited accounts with their application form.

          If you are a new start-up company, you will need to complete the
          turnover declaration form here.

          Supplier Membership Application Form

          This is open to any bona-fide manufacturer of goods or any extractors
          of bulk materials used in the construction industry. You may be either a
          nationwide or regional supplier to merchant Members of the BMF and you
          will be expected to pursue an acceptable merchant's trading policy, with
          preferential terms offered for stockholding merchants.

          Please note that all applicants must include copies of their
          most recent 2 year's audited accounts with their application form.

          Distributor Membership Application Form

          This is open to any bona-fide distributor of building products within
          the UK who comply with a specific set of criteria as shown here.

          Please note that all applicants must include copies of their
          most recent 2 year's audited accounts with their application form.

          If you are a new start-up company, you will need to complete the
          turnover declaration form here.

          Service Membership Application Form

          This is open to any bona-fide specialist supplier of equipment, services
          or advice to merchants, subject to a minimum of two recommendations,
          usually from Full Members of the BMF. You may be either a nationwide
          or regional supplier to merchant Members of the BMF and you will be
          expected to pursue an acceptable service to all BMF Members, with
          particular or preferential terms offered.

          Affiliate Membership

          This category of Membership is open to other Trade Associations by
          invitation only.
